Winemaker Samuel looking deservedly delighted at the Wessex Wine Awards 2023 after our Candover Brook Rosé won the Wessex Trophy for Best Sparkling Rosé!
Huge thanks to WineGB Wessex and The Pig Hotel Group for organising and hosting such a fabulous couple of days. An impressive number of producers participated and the quality of the wines clearly made a big impression on the judges.
It was a full house the next day when the winners were announced (see below). The amount of vineyard teams all under one roof contributed to a very convivial atmosphere and it was lovely to see everyone tasting and celebrating the fantastic selection of wines on offer in our region as well as enjoying a delicious 3-course lunch courtesy of The Pig. Bonhomie at its best!
